Long-time Ada businesswoman and nationally known realtor Margaret Barton (second from left) awaits an under-construction tour of the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center at East Central University with Richard Ayers (from left), ECU assistant vice president for advancement, ECU President Richard Rafes and Dr. Mark Hollingsworth, chair of the music department. A vocal teaching studio in the fine arts center will be named for Barton who donated $10,000 to the ECU Foundation Inc. to help complete the facility. Such gifts are helping meet the unexpected increase in the cost of building materials.
