The Department of Nursing offers the Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing degree to pre-licensure ECU students. Pre-licensure students complete an eight-semester program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing. Graduates who meet the Oklahoma state requirements for licensure, including a clear criminal background check, are eligible to apply to write the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-CAT, RN) to become a Registered Nurse.
