East Central University is planning to raise awareness about cyber security during Cyber Security Awareness Month.

An FBI representative, along with Bryan Sherbourne, cyber security expert, will present the “Main Event” from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13 in the Estep Multimedia Center in the Bill S. Cole University Center. Sherbourne will educate attendees about cyberbullying, current cyber threats and all we can do to be safer with the use of internet and social media. 

The event is free and open to the public.

If you are unable to attend the “Main Event” Tuesday night, visit the Cyber Security Awareness Booth from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, in the Bill S. Cole University Center.
