East Central University’s music faculty will be performing works by Handel, Milhaud and D. Scarlatti to highlight the Faculty Showcase on Thursday, Aug. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Faust Hall Auditorium.
The concert, which is free and open to the public, will also feature standard music theatre repertoire. The event is being held in the Faust Hall Auditorium in honor of the music department’s purchase of a new Steinway B piano for the auditorium.
The piano will serve ECU and the community for many years. The concert is dedicated to all donors who generously contributed to the ECU All-Steinway Piano Fund.
