The ECU Singers, East Central University Gospel Choir and University Chorale are performing a concert at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ada.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The ECU Singers will be performing “Amor de Mi Alma” by Z. Randall Stroope and “Regina Caeli” by local composers Victoria Dansby and Rudy Lupinski, under the direction of Dr. J. Steven Walker. They will also be performing Johannes Brahm’s “Neue Libeslieder,” under the direction of Micah Gordon, senior vocal education major. This work will have a four-hand accompaniment with Lupinski and Dr. Lark Powers.

The ECU Gospel Choir, under the direction of Dr. Melody Baggech, will be performing pieces by artists such as Reuben Morgan and Kirk Franklin. Featured soloists are Morgan Cunningham, Josey Allen and Steve Filkins. The ensemble will be accompanied by Lupinski.

The University Chorale will be performing works by Charles Ives, Dan Forrest, Ola Gjeilo and local composers Tori Davison and Lupinski, under the direction of Walker. They will also be performing Johannes Brahm’s “3 Motets, Op. 110”, under the direction of Mark Atteberry. This group will be accompanied by Lupinski.
