Learning about Oklahoma’s wildlife and discovering fun ways to teach about the outdoors will be the focus of a Project WILD Workshop, being conducted at East Central University on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Lanoy Education Building, Room 101.

The workshop is open to all educators (classroom teachers, Scout, 4-H and other youth group leaders) and any adults who are interested in teaching kids about the outdoors.

Participants will receive Project WILD K-12 and Aquatic activity guides, containing over 170 hands-on activities. The workshop is recognized by the State Department of Education for professional development credit.

The cost is $20 per person and participants are urged to bring a sack lunch.
