Steven D. Gregory, inventor and founder of the Ram Jack methods of foundation repair, has been engaged with East Central University as a distinguished alumnus and supporter of students within the Harland C. Stonecipher School of Business.

Ram Jack was recently recognized for its partnership with ECU by receiving the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education’s Regents Business Partnership Excellence Award.

In support of the ECU business school, Ram Jack employees attend career fairs, offers support to business students by assisting with mock interviews and other professional development activities and currently employs business students working part-time as interns.

Ram Jack continued to support ECU through the Wilburn L. Smith Center of Entrepreneurship activities that include cash prizes and judges for the ECU Tiger Tank Pitch, a competition that features high school and college students pitching their business ideas to a panel of judges. Ram Jack has also supported Oklahoma Business Week the past three years by providing on-campus judges and volunteers for the weeklong camp to help ensure the camp’s success.

Last summer, Ram Jack hosted the OBW teams of more than 100 high school students for a tour, company overview and leadership discussions.

The Regents Business Partnership Excellence Award is designed to highlight successful partnerships and to further cultivate the higher learning environment through State Regents’ Economic Development Grants.
