On January 22, 2013 East Central University will be celebrating Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. day, East Central will be hosting a dinner on his honor. At this dinner we will celebrate winners of the MLK Essay Award and the Spirit of MLK Service & Leadership Award. Nominations are being accepted through January 21, 2013 by 5:00pm. Awards will be presented at 5:00 p.m. on January 22 in Estep. The dinner will follow immediately in the cafeteria. Cost is $6.25. The MLK Jr. Celebration is hosted by the following partner agencies: The Office of the President, Division of Student Development, Chartwells, the Human Diversity Committee and the Department of Political Science and Legal Studies.
