Athletic Training Graduate Assistants

The East Central University Athletic Training Education Program employs two graduate assistants every year.  ECU is a member of the Lone Star Athletic Conference and supports 13 intercollegiate athletic teams competing at the NCAA Division II level.  The job duties include providing AT services for the athletic department (including travel) and supervising athletic training students in a CAATE accredited athletic training education program.  ECU offers several graduate programs on-campus, but one of interest is the graduate program in Sports Administration.  This program is offered online and is compressed into a one year track, summer-fall-spring-summer, but it is possible to cram the courses into a fall-spring-summer format.  The positions is one year (10 month contract) with the option for second year renewal.  Benefits include tution waiver and stipend. Excellent opportunity for ATCs desiring experiences for a career in collegiate athletics and/or athletic training education.

Candidates that are NATABOC certified, eligible for OK licensure, and have one year of experience are preferred; however, candidates that are are not certified but have either taken or are eligible to sit for the BOC Exam are also encouraged to apply.  Candidates must meet admissions requirements of the ECU School of Graduate Studies.
