Art Department Events

57th Annual Student Show

Current and former ECU art faculty and former ECU students to be featured in Red Country Pictures at Benrimon Contemporary gallery in Chelsea, NYC.  May 14th - June 11th, 2011.

The show will function as a retrospective exhibition of the ECU Art Department over the last several decades.  

Participating artists include Leon Polk Smith, DJ Lafon, Deloss McGraw, F. Bradley Jessop, Kate Rivers, Aaron Hauck, Gerald Clarke, Justin Irvin, Mark Hatley, Vance Wingate, and Blake Morgan.  

 

GROUNDED CHALK ARTS FESTIVAL

October 25th 2011 - Area high school art students will compete in a chalk drawing contest held on the Centennial Plaza in front of the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts building.  A college division of competition is open to students from ECU and other institutions.  Contact Dr. Brad Jessop for more details. 580-559-5353
