High school seniors and their parents have the opportunity to spend some time at East Central University and participate in “Senior Day” on Monday, Oct. 8, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Participants are invited to speak with ECU faculty and staff, learn more about the ECU Tiger experience and take part in many fun activities.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.

A welcome assembly will open the event as high school seniors will receive a free t-shirt. The seniors are then invited to visit with faculty at a college-style academic fair in which students will learn about the different majors, departments and schools within the university.

Representatives from the Financial Aid Office and the Housing and Campus Involvement Office will be on hand to speak and take questions as well.

A free lunch will take place for the participants and optional campus tours will begin at 1 p.m. For more information or to register for “Senior Day” go online to http://www.ecok.edu/admissions/senior-day or call 580-559-5628.

The ECU Foundation awards more than $500,000 in scholarships annually. Applications for scholarships are being accepted up until Feb. 1, 2019. Those seeking information about scholarships can go to https://www.ecok.edu/donate/ways-give/foundation-scholarship-information.
