Dr. Germain Pichop joined ECU as Assistant Professor of Business Administration in August 2020. He previously worked at Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) as Professor and Chair of the Business Department and Co-Director of the Center of Excellence in International Business. He also served as a Socio-economic Fellow and Deputy Coordinator of socio-economics research at the WorldVeg (AVRDC). In addition, he has taught at Oklahoma Christian University and the University of Oklahoma over the years.

Dr. Pichop holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management (University of Yaoundé, Cameroon), a Master's Degree in International Affairs and International Marketing from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon, and a Post Graduate Diploma Program from the Emeritus Institute of Management in Collaboration with MIT Executive Education and the Columbia Business School Education. Dr. Pichop is also certified Lean-Six Sigma Green Belt.

Dr. Pichop has been a consultant for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Centre for Forestry Research (CIFOR). He is a Past-Chair of the ACBSP Associate Degree Commission, a member of the ACBSP Board of Directors, a former President of the Kappa Beta Delta International Honor Society.

Dr. Pichop is a recipient of the Leadership Recognition Award from Oklahoma State University (2000), the NISOD Teaching Excellence Award (2015), and received the ACBSP Region 6 Award for Excellence in Teaching (2018) and the ACBSP International Award for Excellence in Teaching (2018). He is an ENACTUS Sam M. Walton Free Enterprise Fellow.

Dr. pichop teaches Economics, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, and Strategies.

Dr. Pichop areas of interest include digital transformation of business organizations, blockchain technologies applications, data analytics, value chain analysis, quality management, and digital business strategies.

    Dr. Hite holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of North Texas, an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University. Prior to joining East Central University, he held teaching positions at Cameron University and the University of North Texas, where he taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses including leadership, organizational behavior, human resource management, change management, operations management, business ethics, and general management courses. Dr. Hite’s professional career experience includes working at Motorola, the Venator Group, Cinemark USA, and serving in the U.S. Army – 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC. This experience involves managing personnel in various contexts, including service and distribution facilities. Dr. Hite’s research interests include cross-cultural management, leadership modeling, computer-mediated communications, modern and traditional work ethic, social behavior and leadership in virtual communities, psychometric development and testing, non-linear and multi-level modeling methodologies, social identity, and anti-normative behavior. He has presented his research at international, national, and regional conferences, and his work has been published in refereed journals such as Cross-Cultural Management: An International Journal, the Journal of Leadership Education, the Journal of Methods and Measurement in the Social Sciences, and the Journal of Applied Business and Economics.

Michael D. Scott, PhD earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and International Business and a Master of Research/Applied Economics from the University of Oklahoma in 2003. He earned a Master of Arts in Economics in 2009 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics in 2012 from Clemson University. His primary fields of interest are in the areas of International Finance, International Trade, and Economic Growth. His research centers around the causes and effects of banking crises. He is a member of the American Economic Association and has been teaching various levels of economic and statistics courses since 2002 in the Oklahoma City metro area and Clemson, South Carolina.

Dr. Dale Powers joined the faculty of the Stonecipher School of Business at East Central University in 2016 and teaches a variety of management courses. His 25-year business career included director and executive-level positions in leadership development and human resource management. He is certified as a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute and a senior certified professional (SHRM-SCP) by the Society for Human Resource Management.

As a visiting professor of management at Fort Hays State University, Dr. Powers spent a full year living abroad teaching undergraduate students in China. He traveled extensively in Vietnam and China teaching graduate courses as a lecturer with Benedictine University and served on the adjunct faculty of MidAmerica Nazarene University.

Dr. Powers earned a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Business School Netherlands where his research explored the digital economy’s influence on employment relationships. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Benedictine College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University.

Julie Lee earned a bachelor of science in accounting and a master of science in accounting, both from East Central University in 1999 and 2013 respectively. Lee is a Certified Public Accountant with 15 years of experience including internal, external, and compliance audit, banking, and governmental accounting and consulting services. From 2009 to 2011, she was the internal audit manager at the Chickasaw Nation. She served as controller/office manager at Danielson Fuel Services, LLC from 2008 to 2009, senior auditor/accountant at Crawford and Associates, PC from 2001 to 2004 and from 2005 to 2008, and internal auditor at Vision Bank from 2004 to 2005. In addition, she was staff accountant at Buxton and Company, PC from 2000 to 2001 and at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC in 2000. Lee served as assistant controller at ECU from September 2011 to July 2014 and has been teaching accounting at ECU as a part time instructor since 2011.
