Mission Statement of ECU's International Student Programs and Services Office (ISPS)

In support of the mission statements of both ECU and the Division of Student Development, the mission of the International Student Programs and Services Office is to promote and enhance the personal, academic, and social growth of every international student. These enhancements are made through programs and services that are guided by and exhibit the qualities and characteristics of integrity, accuracy, consistency, and availability in the spirit of genuine caring and concern, viewing each international student as a vital and integral part of our campus and community.

Online Credit/Debit card payment of the $75 application fee is required to complete an online international undergraduate admissions application submission.  

International Student Orientation 

ECU’s International Student Orientation begins Sunday, January 14, 2024, 8:00 a.m. in ECU’s UC Building, E-Step Room.  Students MUST attend ECU’s International Student Orientation.  Failure to attend may result in cancelation of student I-20. 

When arriving at ECU, you will need to bring requested documents and your educational transcripts to the International Office for evaluation.  Nepali students receive only one set of original transcripts, it is important to have them attested by USEF Nepal in Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu before arrival.  Attesting your transcripts cost Rs. 50 per page. Nepali will submit their USEF attested transcripts.  ECU will NOT return submitted transcripts.  ECU may also ask for a World Education Service (WES) evaluation of your transcripts, which requires an additional fee to have them evaluated and sent to the University. 

Housing Move-In begins Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Mandatory arrival is Sunday, January 14, 2024. Information on ECU's International Student Orientation will be sent to your ecok.edu email account. Additional information is located at https://www.ecok.edu/pre-arrival-information. Classes begin Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
