Emergency Assistance Funds exist thanks to generous donors that understand "life happens".
In the event of a financial crisis, ECU students may feel hopeless and these funds are here to provide that needed hope.
Those seeking funding will need to document their needs as due to personal, social, or economic distress.
A student may only receive an award from one fund, one-time only.
The award may be used to pay for their ECU tuition, books, fees, housing, board, and for life financial needs such as rent, utility bills, automobile repair, etc.
Each application is reviewed on a case by case basis.

For any questions, please contact the ECU Foundation @ 580-559-5655 or foundation@ecok.edu.

ECU Food Bank

Thanks to the incredible generosity of anonymous donors, East Central University has launched its own campus-based food bank to assist students in need. ECU is working with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to keep the pantry stocked with non-perishable food items.
The food bank isn’t just for traditional college students. It is also for parents attending college who are doing their best to finish their degrees while also providing for their families. ECU Food Bank uses a box distribution method to ensure equitable distribution to Students in need.
ECU students enrolled in courses for the current semester may complete one application for disbursement per month during the Fall (Aug.-Dec.) and Spring(Jan.-May) semesters. Students enrolled in Summer courses may complete one application per month during the months of June and July.
