ADA, Okla. – East Central University’s Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling has been ranked by Research.com as a 2027 Best Counseling Degree Program in Oklahoma.

The Master of Science: Clinical Mental Health Counseling is a 60-hour program, delivered in a fully online synchronous format.

The degree prepares counseling professionals for employment in a variety of public and private settings. The training program affords students opportunities to gain the knowledge necessary to become highly skilled professional counselors meeting the demands of clinical mental health counseling.

Students completing the program will satisfy the educational and clinical training requirements to be eligible for licensure (Licensed Professional Counselor-LPC). An applicant for admission to the program must show evidence of professional potential. This option is fully accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
