Inspiring Business Leaders Of Tomorrow
Oklahoma Business Week 2025
June 1–5, 2025 | East Central University, Ada, OK
Oklahoma Business Week (OBW) is a unique summer camp designed to give high school students hands-on experience in business, with an emphasis on technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Through team-based competitions, interactive workshops, and mentoring from real business professionals, participants learn how exciting—and rewarding—the business world can be!
About the Camp
Students are placed in teams called “companies” and work together throughout the week on challenges, presentations, and business simulations. Along the way, they’ll gain skills in:
- Leadership
- Teamwork
- Communication
- Marketing
- Financial literacy
- Innovation and entrepreneurship
Participants will live in ECU residence halls and experience campus life first-hand while connecting with peers and mentors from across the state.
Who Can Attend?
OBW is open to any student completing their freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior year of high school, regardless of whether they attend public, private, online, or homeschool.
No prior business experience is necessary! Whether you’ve taken business classes or are brand new to the subject, the program is designed to challenge and support every student.
Cost & Registration Deadlines
Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, all students receive a scholarship to offset the full cost of camp. Student cost is based on registration date:
- By March 1: $200
- By April 1: $250
- By May 1: $300
All meals are provided. Students are responsible for their own transportation and may bring a small amount of spending money for extras.
Scholarships & Awards
- All applicants are automatically considered for merit- and need-based scholarships.
- Over $15,000 in scholarships will be awarded during the week.
- Members of the winning team will each receive a laptop.
Company Advisors & Mentors
Each student “company” is assigned a Company Advisor—a business leader from across Oklahoma who mentors students throughout the week. Advisors bring real-world experience and help students apply what they learn in a team setting.
Program Expectations
- All participants must sign and follow the OBW Code of Conduct.
- Students must attend all required events, workshops, and team activities.
- Students unable to attend after registering should notify the OBW team as soon as possible so their spot may be offered to another student.
