Dale Powers

Dr. Dale Powers joined the faculty of the Stonecipher School of Business at East Central University in 2016 and teaches a variety of management courses. His 25-year business career included director and executive-level positions in leadership development and human resource management. He is certified as a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute and a senior certified professional (SHRM-SCP) by the Society for Human Resource Management.

As a visiting professor of management at Fort Hays State University, Dr. Powers spent a full year living abroad teaching undergraduate students in China. He traveled extensively in Vietnam and China teaching graduate courses as a lecturer with Benedictine University and served on the adjunct faculty of MidAmerica Nazarene University.

Dr. Powers earned a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Business School Netherlands where his research explored the digital economy’s influence on employment relationships. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Benedictine College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
