Part-Time STOP Act Grant Program Coordinator
Job Summary:
Implement, monitor and perform process evaluation and coordinate PCDFC and STOP Act Grant program. Responsible for coalition planning, reporting, capacity building, project implementation, volunteer recruitment and coordination, local media outputs, resource management, and gathering outcome data.
Description of Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide information or training on evidence-based programs with youth access issues and compliance to staff and coalition
• Manage and evaluate educational and marketing materials
• Create or assess protocols for compliance checks and other PCDFC procedures
• Coordinate strategic planning meetings with Project Director and PCDFC Executive Committee
• Track projects for PCDFC
• Meet with any staff and Director weekly
• Implementation of training and special events
• Abide by policies of PCDFC and ECU
• Cooperate fully with PCDFC and its partners to achieve agency goals and objectives
Qualifications, Skills & Other Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, counseling or appropriate related field
• 3-5 years equivalent experience
• Certified Prevention Specialist preferred or individual willing to obtain CPS also considered
• Knowledge of prevention field and research-based prevention strategies
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• An understanding of ‘at-risk’ youth
• Some travel is required as well as evening or weekend work
Supervisory Relationships:
• Coordinator will report immediately to Program Director
Salary: $20,000
Hours of Service to STOP grant: 20 per week
