The President welcomes students and families to ECU. Begin with the End in Mind – Every stage of life has a beginning and an end. The end is graduation – this is the beginning ceremony of your journey at East Central University. Required for new students.

Parents remain in Ataloa Theatre. Dr. Brandon Hill will share tips on how to partner with ECU and your student for their success.

Enjoy a family meal together in Chartwells or at a local restaurant. Students with meal plans can eat at Chartwells as part of their meal plan. This will be the time to say family goodbyes.

An opportunity to learn what opportunities and responsibilities you have while being part of the ECU Community. Required for commuter students only.

8:00PM – Midnight: Community Life Session & Res. Hall Meetings – Ataloa Theatre

Required for new students. Learn what opportunities and responsibilities you have while being part of the ECU Community. After this event we will dismiss to required residence hall meetings and activities which will continue into the late evening.
