On Monday, March 27 at 4:00 p.m. Anne Yoncha, M.F.A. will present the ECU Women’s Club Lecture. The title of her Lecture is “Microbes, Kites, and the Pluriverse: an Art + Science Exploration of High Altitudes.” The Lecture will be held in the Estep Room in the Bill S. Cole University Center on the campus of East Central University. It is free and open to the public.
Yoncha is Assistant Professor at Art. Her work contains environmental elements reflecting locations throughout the United States and the world. She attained her Master of Fine Arts at the University of Montana and was a Fulbright Fellow at the Natural Resources Institute Finland.
The ECU Women’s Club supports women at ECU. Every year it awards scholarships to non-traditional women students.
