There was too much ice, snow and cold for Pete the Cat to visit East Central University recently. But he kept his cool, seeing how his life is an adventure no matter where he winds up. The show was rescheduled for Tuesday, March 8, at 6:30 p.m., when Pete and his groovy shoes will “sneak” onto the stage at ECU’s Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.
Pete’s story begins when meets the Biddles and gets the whole family rocking in a new adventure. Except for young Jimmy Biddle, the most organized second grader on planet Earth. But when Jimmy draws a blank in art class during the last week of school, it turns out Pete is the perfect pal to help him out.
Together, they set out on a mission to help Jimmy conquer second grade art. Along the way, they both learn a little something new about inspiration. Join Jimmy and Pete on an adventure of friendship, all the way to Paris and back in a VW Bus. Pete’s show is presented by TheatreWorksUSA.
Tickets for the show are $5 for students or children, $10 for adults, and can be purchased at ecok.edu/boxoffice or by calling the box office at 580-559-5751. A matinee is available for schools or groups. Call or email the box office at boxoffice@ecok.edu for more information.
