Mapping Water Stories Summer Academy

East Central University (ECU) in Ada, Oklahoma is excited to offer Mapping Water Stories, a five-day 24-hour supervised residential summer academy for 35 Oklahoma students (grades 8-12), June 5-June 9, 2023. This summer academy provides hands-on learning opportunities about water from scientific, environmental, and other cultural perspectives. Students will visit local lakes and streams to collect water data and learn how to create a Geographic Information System (GIS) map in the ECU GIS computer lab. All meals will be provided.
