An Evening of Jazz and Pop Standards
An evening of Jazz and Pop Standards, April 6, 2015, at 7:30 in Dorothy Summers Theater. Come hear ECU faculty and Ada area local favorites perform standards from jazz and popular repertoire. The concert will feature the music of legendary artists such as Janis Joplin, Elton John, Barbra Streisand, and many others and will be performed by Rudy Lupinski, Benjamin Finley, Melody Baggech, Catie Caton, Alan Marshal, Nathaniel Burman, Doug Laramore, Jamie Davis, Morgan Harper, Nicholas Lee, Deidre Broadie Pennington, Lane Taylor, Ashlie Simpson, and Bronson Warren.
Admission is free.

Spring Band Concert - Wind Ensemble
Ada Junior High Auditorium
Wind Ensemble, ECU’s premiere instrumental group, in the Ada JH auditorium at 3pm. Music will include Scenes from the Louvre by Norman Dello Joio, Endless Rainbows by Brian Balmages, Concerto for Tuba by Ralph Vaughan Williams, featuring Justin Anderson, our 2015 concerto competition winner, and Molly on the Shore by Percy Grainger, featuring 4 marimbas. Also, the Saied Award winners will be announced and the admission is free.
