Ataloa Theatre
The Frontier Brass Band is performing this Saturday night, August 22, in the Ataloa at 7:30pm. The concert is free and open to all.
The group was formed a year and a half ago, and it was a thrill for me to get to conduct their 1st performance. Outstanding brass and percussion players from central Oklahoma comprise the group, including many of the symphony musicians. Much of their repertoire is from the British brass band tradition.

Welcome back to campus, Tigers!
The Student Government Association in cooperation with the Office of Campus Involvement will be hosting the first President's Club meeting of the semester next Thursday, August 27th, at 5:30pm in the Estep Room.
This meeting is open to all current student organization presidents, faculty advisers, and any student interested in starting a new student organization.
The President's Club is designed to provide a forum for discussion about growth and development of student organizations while also informing student organizations about upcoming events and other pertinent information. All student organizations must attend 5 of the 8 meetings to remain a recognized student organization. President's Club meetings are held on the last Thursday of the month at 5:30pm in the Estep.
Please make sure at least one representative from your student organization will be able to attend as we will be discussing important information regarding club recognition from the Office of Campus Involvement, Student Senate Disbursements, and information about upcoming University events!
