Eligibility & Requirements

Students may earn 1 to 3 academic credit hours through approved internship opportunities. Each internship must include:

  • Professional Experience: Meaningful, hands-on work completed under the supervision of the host organization
  • Academic Component: A structured learning element tied to the student’s field of study, guided by the Stonecipher School of Business internship supervisor

Because every internship is unique, specific responsibilities and academic requirements are developed collaboratively by the employer, supervisor, and student. The number of credit hours awarded is based on the total time commitment and scope of work.
