School Psychology Program Option (0620)
The Education Specialist: School Psychology Program Option is a 63-hour program, delivered in a mixed format. For tuition and fee information, please visit the Office of the Bursar.
This degree will allow students to be extremely marketable for employment in the schools as a school psychologist anywhere in the United States as well as allowing for potential pay increases based on national certification status. The focus of the program will be equipping professionals by training them in the areas of assessment, consultation, special education law and academic/behavioral intervention.

School Psychology Specific Admission Requirements
- Undergraduate Cumulative GPA: 3.0
- Interview to assess essential dispositions
Thesis
School Psychology does not require a thesis.
Practicum/Internship
School Psychology requires two (2) practicum courses and two (2) internship courses to complete this degree. The two (2) practicum courses require a minimum of 150 hours for each course while the two (2) internship courses require a minimum of 600 hours for each course.
