Oka' Institute Water Week-Film & Panel Discussion

The Oka' Institute is hosting Let's Talk About Water, a screening of the film "The Unforeseen" with a panel discussion. The event is free and open to the public and the first 30 arrivals will receive a free Oka’ Institute water cup. Free snacks will be served at 5 p.m. with the screening to start at 5:30 p.m. The panel discussion will begin immediately following the film.

App Smash Open House

Students enrolled in EDUC 4632: Educational Technology will be hosting an App Smash Open House from 11am-1pm in the Lanoy Education Building. During this time friends, family, teachers, faculty, and community members are invited to come learn about apps, devices, and programs that they can use for learning, in their classrooms/courses, or in their personal lives. Punch and cookies will be served.

ECU Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble Concert

This is ECU’s final concert of the semester by the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble. The Symphonic Band will be conducted by our student conductors. Their program will include:

Winds of Change by Randall Standridge
Can’t Stop the Feeling, aranged by Paul Murtha
and Skydive by Chris Bernotas

The Wind Ensemble program will include:
Children’s March, “Over the hills and far away” by Percy Grainger and edited by Dr. Mark Rogers
Concertino for Trombone and Wind Orchestra by Ferdinand David and arranged by Denis Wick
and Armenian Dances, Part I by Alfred Reed
