The History program offers a strong core curriculum providing students with basic information about Western Civilization and American history. In upper division courses, students can develop a program tailored to their interests, but all students take at least one course in world history, one course in American history, and one course in European history. History majors are well prepared for careers in teaching, law, government service, and business.
