The FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid, determines a student's eligibility for most types of financial aid such as grants, scholarships, work-study jobs, and loans. Unless you have a rich relative that is paying for your education and living expenses, you need to fill out the FAFSA! It doesn't cost you anything to fill out, so why wouldn't you? It doesn't take long to complete on-line (less than 30 minutes) and you could be reaping the benefits all year long! You will need to fill one out every year, but you should be a pro after the first time! However, if you still need help completing the FAFSA, no problem!
