The Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner that serves turkey, ham, vegetables, hot rolls and desserts to more than 3,000 people will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 24 [MONDAY] at the Pontotoc County Agri-Plex on North Broadway.
The dinner is organized annually by members of the Human Resources Club at East Central University, with help from volunteers throughout the community.
The homebound can have meals delivered inside the city limits by calling 559-5800 by Nov. 21 [FRIDAY].Take-out meals are not allowed.
Call A Ride public transit will provide free transportation countywide for anyone who wants to attend. Handicap vans will be available. To schedule a ride, call 332-7056.
An activity room will be available for children.
