Night-time and early morning astronomy viewings have been scheduled Thursday [APRIL 10] and April 30 by East Central University's Astronomy Club.
Thursday's viewing of the moon and Saturn will be from 9 to 9:30 p.m. at the ECU Observatory adjacent to the Physical Plant Building northeast of the football stadium. The April 30 viewing of Jupiter and the moon will be early, from 5 to 5:30 a.m. at the observatory.
Both sessions are open to the public but will be canceled if it is cloudy or raining. Viewers can park in the Physical Plant parking lot and walk 100 feet up a hill to the observatory.
