Deadlines are approaching quickly for several Aloha Homecoming activities Oct. 8 and 9 [FRIDAY AND SATURDAY] at East Central University.

The deadline is Oct. 1 [FRIDAY] to enter a float, decorated car or truck, marching band or walking group in the ECU Homecoming parade. Entries can be submitted online athttp://www.ecok.edu/campus_life/crew/homecoming/paradeform.htm. The parade will begin at 1 p.m. Oct. 9 [SATURDAY].

Oct. 4 [MONDAY] is the deadline to register online for the ECU School of Business Homecoming Alumni Luncheon. It will be sponsored by Vision Bank of Ada from noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 5 [TUESDAY] in the Stanley P. Wagner Ballroom in the Memorial Student Union. Oct. 7 [THURSDAY] is the deadline to register online at http://alumni.ecok.edu/ for the golf scramble that will be held Oct. 8 [FRIDAY] at Oak Hills Golf & Country Club in Ada. Four-person teams can enter or the Alumni Association can place individuals in teams. The entry fee is $100 per person, and prizes will be awarded to winning teams.

Information about sponsorship packages, a lunch, registration and the tee off time is included on the website.

The Homecoming Golf Scramble raises funds for the Student Alumni Grant program to provide financial assistance to students representing ECU in off-campus academic events.

The 5K Tiger Run will begin at 8 a.m. Oct. 9 [SATURDAY] at Wintersmith Park. The deadline is Oct. 7 to register online at http://alumni.ecok.edu/. Entry fees are $25 for individuals and $60 for teams of five to eight runners. Division winners and overall winners will receive medals.

The ECU Tigers will play Incarnate Word in the Homecoming football game at 6 p.m. Oct. 9 [SATURDAY] at Norris Field.
