Ada, Okla. – East Central University (ECU) is proud to announce the launch of its new Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in the Stonecipher School of Business.
This premier program, specifically designed to meet the needs of working professionals in south-central Oklahoma, provides them with the advanced skills and knowledge required to excel in executive, managerial and administrative roles across various sectors, including business, healthcare, government, tribal governments, and nonprofits.
“Our new MBA program is a significant step towards fulfilling our commitment to providing a quality education that aligns with the dynamic needs of our region’s industries,” said Dean Michael Scott of the Stonecipher School of Business. “This program is designed not just to impart knowledge, but to foster the entrepreneurial spirit and leadership qualities that our students need to drive positive change in their communities.”
The MBA program consists of a comprehensive 21-hour core curriculum and 9 hours of elective coursework, meticulously designed to provide a well-rounded education. It is ideal for recent graduates aiming to advance their careers, mid-career professionals targeting leadership roles, entrepreneurs seeking to enhance their business acumen, individuals pursuing career transitions, and those looking for networking and professional development opportunities.
Graduate business certificates will be created to provide the opportunity for MBA students to tailor their education to their interest and targeted fields.

The MBA program begins in the Fall 2024 semester, applications are now being accepted. Courses will be offered online and in-person.
