A free Solar Eclipse Workshop, presented by Dr. Carl Rutledge of the ECU Physics Department, will be conducted at East Central University on Thursday, Aug. 3, from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. in Room 101 of ECU’s Lanoy Education Building. The workshop is geared toward educators in grades K-12. The event is designed to prepare students for the Aug. 21 solar eclipse. Each participant will receive a free pair of eclipse glasses.
