ADA, Okla. – The East Central University Tiger Esports team recently defeated the University of Arkansas at Monticello Bo Weevils in a best-of-three playoff event.
This victory places the ECU Tigers team in position to play in the first-ever Great American Conference finals in Esports.
“I am incredibly proud that our student athletes get to represent ECU in such a special way through Esports,” said ECU’s Director of Esports, Cody Soden.
The ECU Tigers will be competing against Southern Nazarene University in a League of Legends playoff Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
The match will be streamed on the official ECU Twitch channel that could be found at twitch.tv/ecutigeresports.
