ADA, Okla. – Future Tigers are invited to East Central University on March 5 for Junior Day, where prospective students will get the chance to experience what life is like at ECU.
High school juniors and their parents/caregivers are invited to participate in the event, which will help decide if ECU is the right fit for their higher education plans. Potential Tigers will have an opportunity to interact with ECU faculty, staff and current students.
A complimentary lunch, souvenir T-shirt and optional campus tour are also part of the activities.
The event begins with a welcome, followed by a student panel.
Through a series of breakout sessions, Juniors will be introduced to a variety of student organizations such as ECU Esports, Law and Politics, ECU Band, the School of Business, the President’s Leadership Class and the ECU Honors Program, as well as informative sessions on Inspire to Teach, the I-DREAM Program and Greek Life.
Check-in begins at 8 a.m. in the Lockmiller Lobby inside the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center, located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Main and Center streets in Ada, Okla.
Participants may register for the event at ecok.edu/juniorday.
