ECU to host performing arts events first week of March
ADA, Okla. – East Central University’s Department of Performing Arts is set to host band events the first week of March.
The first event of the month is the ECU Bands Concert that will take place on Sunday, March 2 at 2:30 p.m. in the Ataloa Theatre located inside the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center. This concert will feature the ECU Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Brass Choir.
“The students have put a lot of hard work into preparing for these performances,” said Director of Bands, Dr. Nick Meyers. “They’re ready and excited to show everyone the progress they’ve made so far.”
The ECU Bands Solo Competition will take place the following day on Monday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Faust Recital Hall.
Both events are free and open to the public.
