East Central University is on the lookout for more Tigers, inviting high school seniors to attend Senior Day on Nov. 2.
High school seniors and their parents/caregivers are invited to participate in the event which will help decide if the University is the right fit for their higher education plans. Seniors will have an opportunity to interact with ECU faculty, staff and current students. A complimentary lunch, souvenir T-shirt and optional campus tour are also part of the activities.
“Potential Tigers visiting campus are always welcome,” said Ashlee Heck, ECU’s director of Admissions and Recruitment. “This day is especially for potential students, providing an opportunity to experience ECU firsthand and see what it’s like to be a part of our Tiger family.”
ECU’s annual Senior Day takes place on Wednesday, Nov. 2. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. at the Lockmiller Lobby inside the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center, located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Main and Center streets in Ada.
The event begins with a welcome, followed by a student panel. Multiple breakout sessions are offered after the panel where students and their parents may learn about the admissions process, housing options, campus activities, scholarships, financial aid and more. The seniors will then have a chance to visit a Majors Fair to learn more about academic majors offered at ECU.
Participants may register for the event by Oct. 28 at www.ecok.edu/seniorday.
