ADA, Okla. – ECU hosted a successful All-Majors Career Fair on Oct. 30, 2024, bringing together students, recent graduates and more than 30 leading employers from a variety of industries.
The event offered students valuable networking opportunities, real-world insights and a platform to explore career paths, internships and full-time job opportunities.
The Career Fair saw robust attendance from students, eager to engage with representatives from top companies including the Internal Revenue Service, Tinker Air Force Base, the Chickasaw Nation and LegalShield. The diverse array of industries represented—ranging from Accounting to Criminal Justice—allowed students to learn about career options in sectors they may not have previously considered.
"We’re thrilled with the turnout and the positive feedback from both students and employers," said Angela Sliger, director of Career Development at ECU. "Events like these are essential in preparing our students for the future by bridging the gap between education and employment."
The Career Fair is part of ECU's ongoing commitment to supporting students as they transition from academic life to professional careers. The Career Development Office plans to expand future fairs by incorporating additional vendor booths, resume reviews and on-the-spot mock interviews with employers.
