Courses in education, psychology, library media specialist, human resources, nursing and university studies will be offered by East Central University again this summer at the Ardmore Higher Education Center. ECU faculty will teach a total of 39 graduate and undergraduate courses.
“ECU is offering a great opportunity this summer for educators and human resources professionals to continue to work on their master’s degrees,” said ECU President John Hargrave. “ECU faculty members will travel to Ardmore to teach some classes at AHEC. Other classes will be taught through interactive television or online.”
The summer term will begin June 1 and end July 27. ECU’s summer classes are held from Monday through Thursday. For information or to enroll, call 580-220-2877.
Throughout the year students can earn bachelor’s degrees in Ardmore from ECU in Criminal Justice (Law Enforcement), General Studies, Human Services Counseling and Nursing (BSN, RN to BSN).
ECU’s master of education degrees available at AHEC are in Elementary Education, Elementary School Principal, Library Media, Secondary Education, Educational Technology, Secondary School Principal, School Counselor and Special Education. Educators also can earn certificates as a Library Media Specialist, School Psychologist and School Psychometrist.
Other master’s degree programs available at Ardmore are Psychological Services, Human Resources Administration and Human Services.
