For the next week, East Central University is waiving the application fee for incoming students in conjunction with Oklahoma College Application Week. ECU will also host the Ada Area College Fair 8:45 - 10:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at the Chickasaw Business and Conference Center.
The college fair allows area high school students to visit with more than 40 colleges and universities they may want to attend.
“It’s really exciting to have all of the area high school students come out to learn about higher education opportunities,” said Ashlee Heck, director of ECU’s Office of Admissions and Recruitment. “College App Week is a great kick off for the recruitment season.”
Oklahoma College Application Week is an opportunity for high school seniors to receive hands-on assistance from knowledgeable volunteers while completing their college application.
“We look forward to seeing the students Monday,” Heck said.
