A reception for the first students in East Central University’s nursing program in Ardmore will be held at 5 p.m. Jan. 31 [THURSDAY] at the Ardmore Higher Education Center.
The new students and their families can meet with faculty members from ECU's nursing department to talk about what is required to succeed in the program.
ECU established the generic (pre-licensure) nursing program in Ardmore last fall and began the first classes this semester with 10 students. The program will be expanded over a three-year period to admit 24 students each year.
ECU has taught the RN to BSN completion program in Ardmore for some 20 years.
