ADA, Okla. - East Central University recently held the annual Grounded Chalk Art Festival on Centennial Plaza, located in front of the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.
“The annual Grounded Chalk Art Festival is an excellent opportunity for k-12 and college students as well as artists in the community to come together to create public artwork,” said Sarah Engel, chair of Art + Design : Media + Communication.
More than 80 students, ranging from sixth to twelfth grade from across the community, came together with ECU students to fill the Centennial Plaza with a wide variety of chalk art designs.
