Love is in the air and it will be celebrated with “A Very Chorale Valentines” at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, in the ECU Foundation Hall of East Central University’s Chickasaw Business and Conference Center.
The event features a dinner, auction and musical entertainment from members of the ECU Chorale.
Live auction items include a Carrie Underwood signed guitar, Beatles memorabilia framed puzzle, ECU music quilt, guided deer hunt, painting by Ada artist Loretta Yin, two lower-level Oklahoma City Thunder tickets, singing valentines, framed photo of the ECU Chorale, dinner for six at the Hargrave’s Wewoka lake house, dinner for six at Jim and Shelley Hamby’s home, large trip (destination to be announced), opportunity to conduct the University Chorale in rehearsal and concert and a seat on the next University Chorale trip to competition in 2016.
Silent auction items include a Carrie Underwood stamp collection, two “America” autographed t-shirts (framed), small trip (destination to be announced), upper-level Thunder tickets, four tickets to the ECU production of “Annie Get Your Gun!”, a dozen custom cookies from Peavine Cakes, wine basket, Valentines stationery basket, ECU basket and lottery basket.
The cost is $50 per person and a table sponsorship is available for $500. The table sponsorship includes the six seats for “A Very Chorale Valentines” dinner and auction, a special gift from the ECU Chorale and recognition on the table, in the program and on digital kiosks.
