Each year, ECU campus and Ada community roar to life, celebrating the football game of the season with a golf tournament, Golden Tiger Brunch and ECU Homecoming Parade. This year, the ECU Tigers will take on the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Bulldogs at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Koi Ishto Stadium.

Homecoming festivities begin with the annual Alumni Association’s Golf Tournament on Friday, Oct. 21, at Oak Hills Golf and Country Club in Ada. Check-in and lunch begin at 11 a.m. with a tee time at 1 p.m. The event is a four-man scramble format. The entry fee is $125 and includes lunch. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. The deadline for registration and sponsorship is Oct. 10.

The Homecoming Parade is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22. The theme concerns anything “game” to help Roary celebrate Game Night. Registration deadline for parade entries is Oct. 10.

For 1972 ECU graduates, a Golden Tiger Brunch celebrates those who graduated 50 years ago. The brunch will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the ECU Foundation Hall in the Chickasaw Business & Conference Center. Registration deadline is Oct. 10.

The ECU Black Alumni Association is hosting the Black Alumni Scholarship Gala and Dinner at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21. A reception will be held, with ECU Distinguished Alumni Dewey McClain as the keynote speaker. On Saturday, Oct. 22, The BAA will host an Orange and Black Party at the ECU Ballroom.
