ADA – Students in the ninth through 12th grades, who have the desire to experience how the business world operates, can do so through the Third Annual Oklahoma Business Week at East Central University, June 1-6, 2014.
The two-time award winning Oklahoma Business Week camp has participants divided into teams. Led by a volunteer mentor from the Oklahoma business community, the teams each develop a ‘company’ to learn about business practices and compete with other teams (or companies) in simulated business challenges.
OBW recently received the Association for Continuing Higher Education’s 2013 Distinguished Program: Non-Credit Award, in Lexington, Ky., and earlier garnered the Exceptional Program Award for Best Conference in the Great Plains Region of the Association for Continuing Higher Education in Manhattan, Kan.
