Be a part of a season filled with tap-tap-tapping action, musical comic relief and a live performance by a well-known celebrity at East Central University.

The featured lineup includes: Chicago Tap Oct. 6, Broadway’s Next H!t Musical (an improvised musical comedy) Jan. 21, 2016 and An Evening with Molly Ringwald April 7, 2016.

Ringwald will be singing jazz and musical standards as “The Very Thought of You,” “I Get Along Without You Very Well (Except Sometimes),” “I’ll Take Romance,” “Sooner or Later” and “Where Is Love.”  

Purchase season tickets for the 2015-2016 fine arts season at ECU, and enjoy all of the talent and the productions coming to the area.

Also included are ECU productions of The Compleat Works of Willm Shkspr Abridged (Revised) (Oct. 8-10), The Hobbit (Nov. 20-21), A Showtime Christmas (Dec. 10-11), Fiddler on the Roof (March 3-5) and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (April 8-10). Each show time is 7:30 p.m. Most performances will be held in the Ataloa Theatre of the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center while a few will be conducted in the Chalmers Herman Theatre of that same venue.

A season pass can be purchased for all seven special performances and more for $95. For $60, a patron can purchase a ticket for all three featured productions.

The 2015-2016 fine arts season is sponsored by the ECU Foundation, Inc., Oklahoma Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts, Communication Federal Credit Union, Vision Bank, SCORE Broadcasting, The Ada News, Citizen’s Bank, Santa Fe Steakhouse, Hampton Inn and Suites, ECU Bookstore, Polo’s Mexican Restaurant, Vintage 22 and La Quinta Inns and Suites. Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center is also an Adventure Road partner.

Those who want to make it a dinner-and-show night can present their season tickets and receive a 10 percent discount at Rib Crib, Santa Fe Steakhouse and Vintage 22 on the night of the performance.
