Annual Go Global Event

Global Education Office and Global Education Committee presents Annual Go Global Event. It will be April 1st from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Estep Room (located in the University Center).

 

Come learn about the Study Abroad Program and the Brad Henry International Scholarship. There will also be a door prize drawing.

The Hunger Games

Event Date

East Central Housing will be hosting The Hunger Games. Registration will begin at 4:30 pm and the games will begin at 5:00 pm. It will be March 26th at Norris Field.

 

During the Reapings there will be an obstacle course, archery, a puzzle race, and paper planes. During the Final Games there will be strategic foot race, trivia basketball, and all out dodgeball.

Bystander Intervention Training

Bystander Intervention Training will be on Tuesday, April 1st. at 2:00 p.m. It will be located in the University Center, Estep Auditorium.
 
 
ECU students or employees may register by emailing his or her name to BWI at bwinstitute@ecok.edu with Step UP! as the subject line.
 
 
 
This training is free and you will receive a certificate of completion!
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Step UP! is a bystander intervention program that educates students to be proactive in helping others. This interactive training is a fun way to look at how to intervene and help others.

Asian Night Banquet

Asian Student Association presents the Third Annual Asian Night. It will be Tuesday, April 8th at 6:00 p.m. There will be Asian Culture Dress Show, Cuisine and Entertainment. It will be in the Stanley Wagner Ballroom (located inside the Memorial Student Union.

 

Tickets: ECU Students: $5.00

               Everyone else: $8.00

 

 

100% Funds collected from this event will be donated to ECU Rotaract Club for international project "Education for Deprived Children."

Civil Rights Movie Viewing and Discussion

Civil Rights Movie Viewing and Discussion will be at 7:00 pm in the Chickasaw Business Convention Center, room 221.

 

 

 

 

Join PS 1113 Service Learning students for a viewing of “The Butler.”  The movie will be followed by a moderated discussion with MS. Patricia Bush, a longtime Ada resident and ECU graduate who worked keeping house while she was a student.  She will also describe the experiences of her mother, Ms. Gertrude Bush.
