Esports Scholarship Information

Participation in Esports at East Central University may come with financial compensation in the form of scholarships.

The 2025 Esports Tuition Waiver is an award granted to eligible students. Tuition waivers are applied directly to the owed balance a student has. Tuition waivers are not a cash consideration and can not over award a student resulting in a refund. Students that have a fully paid balance would not be eligible to receive a tuition waiver through Esports at ECU. 

Esports Tuition Waivers that are awarded will continue up through the end of the awarded semester contingent upon the recipient meeting the academic requirements, adherence to the standards of behavior in the Esports Code of Conduct and the availability of scholarship funds at the end of each semester. 

Information regarding this award:

• Scholarship recipient must be an Oklahoma resident.
• Scholarship recipient must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 per semester in order to receive this scholarship.
• Scholarships are only available for the semester they are awarded in.
• Scholarship recipient must successfully complete twelve (12) hours of academic credit for the semester in order to retain the scholarship.
• Scholarship recipient must maintain good academic standing, not being on any probation, suspension or in violation of any code of conduct policy.
• Should a recipient fail to meet any of the above requirements, they will forfeit this scholarship.
